Kirtland, Ohio

My favorite place in Kirtland was the Newel K. Whitney Store with the relics from the past, lanterns, barrels, etc.

The Kirtland,Temple which is now owned by the 

Community of Christ Church (previously the RLDS). 

The John Johnson Home in Hiram, Ohio.  Joseph was staying with the Johnson family when he was dragged from the home, tarred and feathered.  Sidney Rigdon was also dragged from his home across the street and tarred and feathered by the same mob.
