Nebraska

The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge which crosses the Missouri River.  A $22 million bridge which was built with Federal funds.  Many call it the bridge to nowhere.

We stopped at a rest stop which overlooked The Big Blue River, however, the river was very very green. As we got closer, we noticed little green seeds all over the river.  The seeds were so dense, leaves floated on the top

Glenwood Springs

We took a tram up to the top of a large mountain to see the Glenwood Caverns.  We bought the day pass so that we could enjoy the rides and 4D movies.  After a tour of the caves, we enjoyed one movie, an alpine coaster ride, and then Clifford went on THE swing.  After going up and down 100 feet in the air over the canyon, Cliff’s stomach was a little queezy and that was the end of the rides.  We spent the rest of the day looking for soda crackers and sprite.

Let Er Rip

After 1-1/2 hours into the trip, the tire alarm in the truck started going.  Cliff pulled off the road immediately and one of the tires on the trailer had exploded and was shredded.  The explosion ripped apart several wires, knocked out a side light and cracked the tire well cover.   Very unfortunate, but a blessing that it wasn’t worse.  Thank goodness for Clifford's expertise - he fixed all the problems
